The LTV-332J is an advanced 5.0 A output current, intelligent gate driver designed for IGBT VCE fault protection. It offers compact, affordable, and easy implementation with features like integrated VCE detection, under-voltage lockout (UVLO), "soft" IGBT turn-off, isolated open collector fault feedback, and active Miller clamping. This optocoupler contains an AlGaAs LED optically coupled to an integrated circuit with a power output stage, making it ideal for driving power IGBTs and MOSFETs in motor control inverter applications. It can also drive discrete power stages for higher-rated IGBTs. The LTV-332J boasts an insulation voltage of VIORM = 1414 VPEAK and guarantees operational parameters over a temperature range of -40C to +105C.
